 With a solid educational foundation, holding a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Al Zaytoonah University, he has honed his expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), mobile data capture support, and data analysis and visualization. Mohammad is proficient in a range of advanced tools, including Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft PowerApps, and Excel, enabling him to implement data-driven strategies that enhance organizational decision-making processes.



In his current role as a Digital Adviser and Regional MEL Coordinator at the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Mohammad has successfully established systems for evidence-based decision-making, ensuring that program performance is monitored and evaluated effectively. 


His contributions extend to building MEL capacity within regional and country missions, where he has developed and implemented comprehensive M&E systems and engaged in program design and proposal discussions. 


His previous roles at NRC and World Vision have further solidified his reputation as an expert in information management and data quality, where he has led initiatives to optimize data tracking and reporting.

As a seasoned professional, Al Maraaz has played pivotal roles in numerous organizations, contributing to significant initiatives aimed at enhancing the legal landscape in Jordan. He has participated in local, regional, and international training courses, gaining insights into best practices in human rights and legal advocacy. His active involvement with the National Center for Human Rights, where he has held multiple leadership positions, showcases his expertise in shaping policies and strategies that protect the rights of vulnerable populations, including Syrian refugees.
